Hi, I am Christopher State, a Design Engineer based in Stockholm. I work at the intersection of design and code, focusing on accessibility and user experience.

Previously, I led accessibility initiatives at SJ, shaped digital products at ICA, and supported Vattenfall's ERP transformation through UX-focused training programmes. Currently, I am exploring how AI can support accessible design.

The Fable 5.1 × Opus 5.5 Build Day

What an event! And hearing afterwards that some of the team had their most fun hackathon ever, and also learned a bit about branches and GitHub collaboration along the way, that made me really happy. It reminded me that sharing how you work matters as much as the product itself. <3

WWDC 2026

Attended WWDC26 at Apple Park for the second time, marking Apple's 50th anniversary. Great people, great connections. Standing in a building Jobs helped design and never saw finished was a moment hard to explain and easy to remember.

WWDC 2025

WWDC 2025 was incredible - Apple Park's stunning architecture and the brilliant global developer community made it unforgettable. The accessibility design lab and conversations with Apple engineers about inclusive design were particularly inspiring for my work. 🍎

Cartina Kickoff

From building rafts to mastering survival skills on Adventure Island with Cartina, I discovered that curiosity, teamwork, and stepping out of my comfort zone are essential ingredients for both personal growth and professional innovation.

Stockholm Marathon 2024

Completed challenging marathon in 27°C heat. Struggled at 30km+ but crowd support helped. Slowed down but cheers from the crowd gave me energy to finish strong. Runners high is real! 🏅 😍
